Acceptable ID for Notarizing Documents must be:
-Photograph
-Physical Description
-Signature
We CANNOT accept expired ID for any Notary or PennDot Transactions.
We will need to have the following to submit with all the paperwork to PennDot.
-Letter of Authorization - stating who you are to the company and that you have to authority to sign documents.
-Business Name & ID #
-Proof of Existence of Business
-Insurance in the Business Name, if applicable.
-All PA titles MUST BE notarized
-Have Current Valid Insurance card
-RECOMMENDED that you have a Bill of Sale
-Signers MUST being a valid proof of identification for their signature(s) to be notarized
-The seller(s) must be present for notarization of their signature(s) UNLESS the title is notorized before paperwork is brought to us.
-The Purchaser(s) must be present for notarization of their signatures(s)
-We need to know the mileage of the vehicle (if not exempt)
-ORIGINAL TITLE - If title is not available, we will need to request the title from your lender. This can take up to 10 business days.
-Purchaser(s) MUST bring a valid proof of Identification
-Current Valid Insurance Card
-RECOMMENDED that you have a Bill of Sale
-We also must have the mileage of the vehicle (if not exempt)
-We are REQUIRED to verify the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN number) on out of state titles and new vehicles.
-MOST Out of State titles do not require the seller(s) signatures to be notarized, however, some DO!
-SOME States that DO NOT require notarization are: Maryland, Deleware, New Jersey, and New York.
-SOME States that DO require notarization are: Ohio and North Carolina
-If the out of state title does not require notarization, the seller does NOT need to be present, but must sign the title prior to the transfer.
-You have 10 calendar days to receive a PA state inspection.
-We are REQUIRED to verify the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN number) on all NEW vehicles!
-NEW vehicles have an MSO (Manufacture State Origin) or MCO (Manufacturer's Certificate Origin) instead of a state issued title
-The MSO or MCO must be notarized if the state where the vehicle was purchased requires notarization on vehicle titles
-The MSO or MCO is required in order to transfer ownership of the vehicle, and to produce a title in the purchaser's name
-Purchaser(s) MUST BRING a valid proof of identification
-We will need the mileage of the vehicle (if not exempt)
